Bike looks great..............did you buy new oil lines or have those made?

They look great. I need a set for mine.

Guess I have to try an IPA, been hearing lots about it on this forum.

Grand Canyon brewing's IPA is also very good and comes in a cool looking can.

Thanks, I had the oil lines made at a local industrial hydraulic shop.

IPA is an acquired taste for most.  They use a lot of hops so it has a real strong flavor.

I see this has turned into a beer thread. I know more about beer than building motorcycles so I feel the need to chime in.

Stone IPA is a fine beer. If you like that, try their Ruination IPA. I don't believe there is a hoppier beer out there. Pretty high alc content as well, so after about 3 of them you will be miscalibrating  your cam lobes. I was just out in the Portland area and tried the Lompok C-Note IPA. Enjoyed it.

Got some new parts and started getting them set in place.
K&S bar switches
Nissin master cylinder
MSR clutch lever







I also mocked up some vinyl tubing trying to figure out the length my brake lines need to be.  For those that have done the dual disc conversion how does this look?

Yea I don't need the kill switch on the left but tweakin has a killer suggestion to use it as a garage door opener with a FLASH2PASS . I might do this in the future. Haven't done much research on it but it's a great idea if it works. As for the cost, I paid about $85 for the left switch from Dime City Cycles. You can get them from a bunch of other places, even Amazon.

So today I worked on wiring. I ordered a reg/rec combo unit from Tony at Oregon Motorcycle parts. Great guy to deal with! I mounted it under the battery tray. Was a tight fit because of the oil tank vent hose but I managed to make it fit. I got the solenoid rebuilt and mounted. New blade fuse holder installed. New connectors replaced on everything with a dab of solder. I had to replace a few wires in the harness but its good now. I have HOURS into this electrical system so far and I am only half way done. Still gotta deal with the headlight bucket, install a battery, and install the Pamco ignition. Hopefully everything works once I get power to it.  I got these cool little 20A relays for my headlight and coils. One is mounted under the starter solenoid for the coils and two are (hopefully) gonna be in the bucket for the hi/lo headlight.

Gday Brandon, it doesn't hurt to put a relay on the ignition switch as well mate, helps cool things down a bit and last longer... ;)
