Topic: Rust-oleum on transmission cover, etc?

Has anyone ever used rust-oleum's protective enamel on engine parts? it comes in a little can and is oil based. I just painted my carbs with it and the stuff looks great, maybe hoping to do some other parts too but wondering what the temp max. is, thanks for the input!

It is the same as they sell you in a spray can. The difference being that the spray is thinned out. You can thin the stuff in a can you have with acetone  only and shoot it through an HVLP gun too. Should be fine to paint anything with as long as it's not a hot item. I use the stuff in a can with a paint brush frequently to put a really thick coating of paint onto something when the finish isn't too important.
