I'm home for a day so no real bike work will get done but I wanted to post pics of my spokes.  I'm pretty pleased, the spokes are a bit tarnished looking and probably have the zinc coating worn off but there is no surface rust.  The nipples are in even better shape.  I'm sure a few seconds each on the polishing wheel and some clear coat of will make them look good as new.

I wonder who will coat them w/ fresh zinc? I have a set I'd like to bring back to O.E. fresh.
75' CB400F/'bunch o' parts' & 81' CB125S modded to a 'CB200S'
I love the small ones too !

The 360 has been sitting in storage since late May-ish.  I got it out today to install a new points plate, points and Hondaman ignition.  The whole project took about 3 hours.
I put the points plate on, wired it up, tightened the screws up and of course the bike fired right up.  I gapped it, timed it and fired it up.  The Hondaman ignition was a piece of cake to install.  I zip tied it right above the left side cover tab.  The only wire I had to trim back was the ground.  I put a fresh eye on it and attached it to the cover screw inside the points cover.  Again the bike fired right up.  I love this little bike; it's kind of nice to ride sitting straight up after a few weeks of crouching on the Hawk GT.

Extra fine wire wheel, 400 sandpaper, acetone, Duplicolor clear coat. I'll be lacing a wheel soon.

For many reasons this project was side tracked until this bike became my only rider after my accident on March 11th.  Work and having (at the time) two other running bikes were the primary culptrits.  Regardless I'm back on this for the sake of upkeep and the safety of the bike.  It's been in climate cotrolled storage since shortly after my last post, the carbs were drained in fall and the battery was disconnected.  I rode on Saturday March 16th, it runs great and still needs a few tweaks but for now I'm going to focus on two things, finishing the front wheel project and solving a tiny gas leak out of carb 2 at the accelerator linkage.  I believe I have the gas leak diagnosed but Im waiting on some parts, when that comes in I'll post some pics of the issue and my fix.

The gas leak is coming out of the hole that should be behind the steal plug.  Im assuming that the plug will fix the leak but I'm unsure if that hole is supposed to be fully blocked off by the plug or if air is supposed to be able to get in there as well. You can see that the hole comes out on the upstream side of the butterfly.

I bought a #2 carb body off of eBay and with a little heat and a gentle tap or two the plug came right out.  Im going to install it in there and see what happens.  I certainly cant ride with pride if gas is leaking out of the thing.

Dry carbs are nice.
