Store Bought Pin Wrench for wheel bearing retainers
« on: April 08, 2012, 09:02:12 PM »
Harbor Freight has a decent pin wrench for $5. Adjustable to fit different retainers. I'd grind the pins down myself, they are a little long..  And the homemade flat bar with 2 bolts tool is still better. But with the stakes drilled out this wrench will turn the retainer.

I got something similar here in Australia - at Bunnings (in with the angle grinder accessories)
Shortened the pins a bit, they seemed pretty long, and after drilling out the punch marks on the retainers it worked fine.
It makes the distance for the rear retainers (just)
