FWIW, I'm not a shill for Race Tech - I've just got a thing for good suspension and the RTCE's are the most cost-effective mod for these old damping rod front ends.

A hotrod/bike/tattoo shop open last week, brought it there. It was a hit.

I'll bet you a dozen donuts neither this nor anything else will actually end up being the "final piece". :)

Your bike turned out great. Very unique! You should see about some laced wheels, maybe some Ducati sport classic wheels? That would be bad ass.

Going from the 16 to 17" wheels would be nice.

Fierce!

How much to make a swing arm like you have for a 550f?

Dumb question but does it improve the ride and handling?

I have an extra that I'd make into a tank, is the 550 dry sump?
I'd have to see about a price. It would include SS oil lines and you would have to send me your old hoses so I cane make adapters for the motor

It's about 1 1/2" longer than stock, I'm pretty sure that what carpy sells as his "improved handling swing arm" I spent about two hours on it tonight and the thing handles awesome! It's a little stiff, but hell it rides like my 748!

How's your rethink on your header pipes going mate? I'm guessing that you're not leaning it over very far on right hand bends? Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

They're pretty damn high actually! , still going to find/make a new header. But for now I want to ride and work out other  things
