I brought one several years ago for $30 US.  I like the book, but I never would paid the high prices for used books on Amazon.   I have seen a book, I think "Cafe Racers" that is selling or wanting several hundred dollars for it.  Looks to be a great book, but not for me!

Were you able to get it without paying a shipping charge? When I try I'm told I qualify for free shipping but then when I go to check out it wants to charge me.

It will happen the same that happens with the Hondas: once it has become a "cult" item, the lower the edition the more collectable....

I have two copies of that book. I bought one new, and other one on ebay. When it was getting already expensive, I took a chance and bid low. And what usually happens, you end up winning the bid on the article you really doesn't need.... :-)

It is a good thing that the book will be in print again. Ot it is just it will be re-printed provided the are enough pre-orders. I also have the "Original Kawasaki Z1" and I have to say that series of books are fantastic, in both the informative and photography sections.

I had to pay shipping.  It was abut 6£.  I think the free shipping might be for UK residents.  If you want to wait it'll probably show up on amazon.ca and then you'll get free shipping but who knows when it'll show up on our shores.  The delivery date is early July.

For those who are interested there is a big delay in delivering this book.  I ordered mine in April and the supplier is still trying to deliver them to Amazon.  No expected time provided.
