Hello all, Im trying to identify my bike so i can start buying parts .    i know its a cb 550,and i think the frame is a 1974, engine 1976? frame vin 1029377
                                                                                   engine vin e-1067527
any help with the year and model of both would be appreciated.

It should say right on the neck what it is.

'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

II used that page but still unsure about the engine.

Engine numbers do not match frame numbers on Hondas even when new.

Frame 75 550F. Engine 76 550K2 looks like to me.
