With 116 miles why would it have had the tank and side covers painted?  Be suspicious for sure...

It's not an outrageous price, though...as long as it's not stolen, and you're looking for that bike, it's probably a great deal.  Be suspicious, yes.  But, I don't necessarily smell a scam.  Am I alone??  Maybe the paint wasn't perfect, and the owner thought it would help the value (doesn't IMO, but maybe to some because it looks(?can't tell now?) nicer than before.)  Paint isn't expensive for everyone afterall.

So someone bought a brand new 750 Honda in 1982, rode it home then forgot they had it? Um sorry I don't buy it, maybe that's just me being suspicious. ;D
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Simple. Lay down on the pavement and look at the bottom of the bike.

The bottom should have no scrapes or scratches at 116 miles.-LUCKY

Lucky has a point there.  The bike seems to be showroom quality, but for my money if I wanted a 750 near that year, it would be an F.  Especially for four large.

its better to regret something you have done, than something you havent.Except playing with explosives.

No... I did nit buy it... I never planned to. I was just wondering if the mileage was suspicious... And it looks like I am not the only one thinking like that. :-)

Thanks all for replying.
