Is it an 85' or 86' ? If it's been really well maintained w/ the inside of the tank done, valves, carbs, etc. well taken care of..lets say owned by a M/C mechanic and in stock trim, I think $2200 + wouldn't be out of line... But if just "kept running" w/o the regular things that it should have had(it's really just a pain to "bring it back" to 100% fine tuned cond.;these will Last a Long time w/ the gear drive cams) try to offer much less. They have an electric fuel pump and the tank tends to get a some rust in it and pump it through the carbs..as usual. It looks like it's been kept indoors and may not have much rust in the tank though.
The best thing to do if you get it is find a nice 17" front wheel and drop the tree's down a hair to compensate. It's best w/ 17" both front & rear so you can fit a pair of decent radial tires to lighten the "feel" of the handling on this BIG bike.
I believe once it's been totally fine tuned and then taken regular good care of, this bike will run for MANY miles indeed and be Real smooth for long distance rides.
I'd LOVE to have it !
it wouldn't take me long to bring it to 100% smooth operation and take it from here to the West Coast & back.
Excellent Machine !
