2 Virago's for $500? Would you bite?
« on: May 10, 2012, 05:32:26 PM »
I saw these on my way home from work tonight. Don't know that I have the extra $500 bucks right now, though... If I did... don't know if I would have a bed to sleep in when my wife found out...

Viragos don't have much of a resale around Philly so I'd pass, especially if there weren't any titles...Larry

You could do this.

Do you have a copy of the Honda Shop Manual or Parts List for your bike? Get one here:

Before considering actual purchase ask to start them up.They need hot batteries and clean battery terminals to start well..,otherwise they do chew up starter gears in those early 80's models. They are a good bike aside from that.

That's exactly what I was thinking, too.   ;D

My brother had a 920 Virago. I know that started issue well.

We'll see. Like I said, I don't think I have the extra $500 right now anyway.

I talked to a bike shop in St Paul that had worked on a neighbors 81 CB650.  They told me they were adding the CB650 to the list of old bikes they won't work on.  The Virago was also on the list. ;D
