Hi everybody, I am in the midst of replacing most of my front end after a runin with a bumper. Going to replace my fork tubes and do some paint and Bondo on my fender and headlight bucket. As long as she will be down u finally want to fix my carbs. When I bought the bike it had UNI pod filters on it and a leaky float bowl on the third carb which comes and goes. I want to get in there and make sure I have the proper size because it bigs down terribly out of first until my eons are well over 4-5 k. Once I get the correct fitting I'll synch them and hopefully have a much happier bike

The order.
Remove carbs.
Replace float needles with NEW ones!!!
Measure float height BY THE BOOK.
Then come back and tell us the exhaust type and muffler.
Intake system.

Idle jet size.
Main jet size.
Needle clip position from the top. OR is it non adjustable needle?
Mixture screw setting.

THEN I could advise you about your jetting after ALL TUNE up ITEMS are complete.
