Racing is from 8-11am, two hour lunch break for spectator laps and air show from 11am-1pm, and then racing resumes 1pm-5pm.  There will be a rough schedule of races coming out in the next week.

Due to racing's unpredictable nature there is no way to know EXACTLY when a race will get the green flag.  Crashes, breakdowns, weather, all sorts of things can make it hell to run one of these events.

Spoke with Ken yesterday morning just after they had finished with their couple of practice runs.

Ken's response to how the bike was running, "Well, it hasn't blown up yet"...

There was more to the discussion, but that was the the best line.

All the big boys are there.  Even the Kawi 1000 that Kevin was able to beat at Road America.  Apparently it's gotten a tune-up.  I don't think he was terribly happy about getting blown away by us last time out.  But Kevin feels that they still have bike on him.

I'll post when I know something.  I have a feeling some of you will know before I do.

If you get results, post'em up!

Thanks!

First lap last corner of Saturday's afternoon race Kevin went down, I couldn't tell why.  I have ashot milliseconds before the front wheel broke loose.  I will post them up when I get home.  Decided to stay away from the Pit after that, as I suspect they don't need to talk about it.

From talking to Bill (who also works at the shop), Ken and Todd packed up everything and headed out afterwards.

Tough way to end the season...

I didnt see that particular wreck. But I did see him come around one lap. What i did see in the corner I was in was a rider in the same race go down in a little cloud of speedy dry from the race before. Its a stretch but something to consider.

Milliseconds later he was down and across onto the grass and gravel

I spoke to Kevin and his crew Sunday morning, he was fine.  Track official reported that oil had been dropped on the track previously by a bike that had slipped through inspection, as four other riders had gone down during that race, which raised concerns and they found the culprit.  Doesn't do much for those that fell as a result.  >:(

Is there anywhere we can read about the specs on this bike? I know it was an evolution to get where it is. Sorry to hear they are selling it, I think this it was a great way for them to get exposure in the racing community as well as here.

I'll call Kenny tomorrow and see what we can find out.I know the Honda RSC/Yosh tranny CR was undercut and coated! The trans with those mods probably worth @ $1500.00 alone. The head is definitely a one off pc. Rods ,crank, not sure, but I know Ken likes coatings!!! ;) We'll see what we come up with! ;) ;D Bill

That is very dissapointing, I wish they would have campaigned the bike two years. The potential changes (like a pebble in a quiet pool of water) and the effects and affects this bike could have had on the class would have been interesting to see.
Would have been very interesting to see things turn out differently and them race at Daytona.
Sorry to hear the ride is over.
