Topic: vibration at 5kish rpm

In all gears, after complete rebuild, havent felt like pushing through to see if it goes away. Chain or cam chain capable of this? Smooth otherwise

What sort of vibration is it, is it a heavy sort of vibration or a light buzz.  My 650 gets a vibration in it like I'm hanging onto an angle grinder at 5000rpm, from what I've heard this is normal, something you have to live with, I have put foam grips on mine so my hands don't go numb whilst riding.

carbs synced?out of sync carbs dont really cause high rpm vibe but its the edge you might need,,double check the points are timed correctly.

Make sure you have some slack in your drive chain!! If you have it too tight it will give you a viberation that progressively gets worse the faster you go!!!
