Turbo Project
« on: June 26, 2012, 09:44:48 AM »
Turbo project update, I have nearly finished cleaning and fixing the bike up so it is presentable  and reliable and have a few hundred miles on it now but have not even started the turbo fabrication. "(NO time)" I saw a reply from "GREGGO" asking if I wanted to part with the 550K specific pieces. I decided that I would like to Keep my turbo and trade the complete 550K parts with someone for the 750 parts. The pieces I have are not showroom new but are in pretty nice shape for 30 years old. No dents or scratches and all heat shields are there. The exhaust manifold/header  is in good shape and no cracks or damage. I want to get it running this year as a turbo bike. I would concider buying the exhaust header to turbo plumbing if there is one available. This might be better in the HYPO forum but I started here.
Thanks

Only 750 part I have is a very nice ATP exhaust pipe (chrome) with heat shield.  It's in 9 out of 10 condition.

Greggo. I am hopingto find a more complete kit but do you have an idea what you would need if you were to sell your pipe. If I am able to do this turbo project.
Thanks
