more fitment issues with 75 goldwing front end - pics
« on: July 10, 2012, 02:02:16 PM »
The problem I'm running into now is there is interference between the brake rotors and the top of the caliper brackets on the outside (fork side).  This only rubs on the top, the bottom of the bracket has the rotor centered nicely.  It's not just a little bound up - with everything together you can hardly turn the wheel by hand.

Pics:

First two show the fitment problem on the tops of both caliper brackets. last one is the left caliper underneath. picture isn't great but it shows the rotor riding right in the middle of the gap in the bracket.  I'm having a hell of a time getting this all to fit right - i have to be missing something.

My parts list is:
From 1975 GL1000:
Brake calipers, brackets, rotors, speedo drive, axle, spacer, forks, trees.

I have all that, with the CB750 wheel.  Any ideas on how to get this to work right?
