Hats off to Dave Dispain, Dick Mann and King Kenny!
« on: July 14, 2012, 06:37:04 AM »
I've been pretty disappointed in the AMA and the Hall of Fame in recent years, nice to see KR speak out when the Hall of Fame turns it's back on a legend.

As usual, there is more than one side of the story that should be considered -

Numbers of stories...............lots of sides to each story...................and of course it was the fault of STAFF positions and poor oversight by committees and supervisors that don't have names or faces..............does self-respect disappear before you do a bad deed, or is it taken from you by lack of peer-recognition for your good work?

F*ck Despain - his media whore status is only rivaled by that of a kardashain.

Does the AMA HoF induction process suck? Yes. Did they screw up? Yes. Are they owning up for it? Yeah, kinda.

However, Despain protested right off the bat suspecting a moral objection, and when it turns out he was wrong and it was a clerical error and not a moral one his response is not "maybe I was hasty" but rather "no I still think it was a moral objection". Way to jump the gun and then cover your tracks by accusing conspiracy in the face of evidence contrary.

Why is Despain even in the HoF? Nobby? Absolutely! Despain? I wouldnt vote for him.
