Anyone with a Viper cafe fairing?
« on: July 14, 2012, 04:08:11 pm »
Hi

I'm considering putting a cafe racer fairing on my CB 400 F.  Has anyone put a Viper fairing on his bike?  What is your opinion is it good or money thrown away?

It was on the 75K for a short time. I needed to cut it to fit the MC and didn't want to do it. So, it sits on a shelf.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Didn't think I would like it but after riding in the relay with the fellows (and more than one had a Viper) I decided to try.  Wouldn't go back now.  I had to make some modifications due to my handlebars are not stock- and just putting it on had the headlight pointed at the ground  :o but other than that it was super easy to install.

Here is mine on my CB550.  I plan on having it pinstriped eventually but for now it will stay black.

I've got one but it's going on my kz1000, I picked it up cheap of a guy I know. I've got a newer triumph flyscreen on my 77 though, love having it on. Really deflects the wind on the highway.
