I always thought Wisconsin was a little 'off'.  On the way from Madison to Gurnee Il, on the west side of the highway I used to pass by the 'Bong Recreation Area' highway sign.  Drove this route as part of my weekly commute from Toronto to Gurnee, where I was doing some consulting work back in the late 90's.
Roule comme dans les années 70...   Roll as in the Seventies...

Get that plate off your bike mate, that's a bad "omen", ha ha! But seriously, have you heard the "urban myth" about the guy who had a personalised plate "LIV9" on his chopper back in the 1970's? He was killed on it in a freak accident and when the accident investigation cops took some pics of the scene, reflected in the chrome bumper, the "LIV9" became "EVIL". Spooky............  ???
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

That's not too far from my house!  (Across the river, anyway)
My dog loves me for the person I try to be.  Either that or he's hungry.
