CB 500K1 rebuild
« on: July 17, 2012, 06:33:53 am »
Hi, I'm new to this forum.  Thought I would share some pics of a recent rebuild I did on a CB 500K1.  I bought the bike because, other than the owner putting a custom seat, pipes and bars, the machine was untouched.  it sat in the guys basement for 30 years.  I was going to clean it up, get it running and do a quick "flip".  As you can see, I went to far!!!!  Not quite finished yet, but close.

Thanks!  I was only thinking of selling it before I did the complete rebuild (ground up).  Knowing me however it will likley sit in my basement another 40yrs!!!!  I like building them more than riding....
