I'm REALLY pissed off that this weekend is schoolies in my HOME TOWN.
For those that have NFI what I am talking about, schoolies is a weekend where a town "hosts" (ie appointed by some do-gooder govt wanker or some tree hugging wannabe council hero) all the brats who have finished their schooling - an excuse to get pissed, take drugs, get into fights, vandalize, terrorize locals, leave rubbish everywhere, take over the shops and streets, then go home on Sunday afternoon and tell mummy and daddy what a great time they had and how well behaved they were. This PISSES ME OFF.
And it PISSES ME OFF when I see mummy and daddy dropping off their 16 and 17yo little treasures outside of the short term accommodation they are going to trash over the weekend, and help them through the door with the cases of beer, cartons of wine and bottles of spirits that they bought for them so that they "can have a good time". FFS. And then mummy and daddy drive back to the city in peace and quiet and have a weekend of random sex and partying in their childless home, whilst the locals go into lockdown mode and cower in their loungerooms waiting for the inevitable packs of drunken morons to stagger down their street blowing up letterboxes and slashing tyres. If the parents think it's such a great thing, why don't they have it their own fkn town or suburb??!!
Then Monday you walk through town and dodge the piles of spew all over the footpaths, the broken glass at every step, spend dollars and time cleaning off the grafitti from shop windows, and generally get REALLY PISSED OFF.
If you think I'm exagerating, come and stay for a while. There's over 6000 of the sh*ts here and they cause havoc - I don't know one local who welcomes it.
Me, I'm out of town for the weekend, along with many others. A lot of businesses are also closed for the weekend - it's better economics to lose a bit of income, than lose stock to shoplifting, vandalizing and fights in the shops - it happens.
I am pissed off, but feel a bit better now

I looked at it Frosty, and it reminded me of when I bought my Harley Sportster back in 1987. I quickly realised that while I loved the bike, I had little time for a lot of other Harley riders. I could only think of one word when watching the clip you posted, "Whatabunchofwankers". Kind of pissed me off really.

Oh, and I chortled when one guy was talking about "Ton Up" stuff, saying, "if your bike won't do the ton, stay home" and while he's saying it, a bunch of beat up looking 350/4's and a couple of old twins wheeze past and I nearly fell out of my chair laughing!

And all those gays were putting on their best James Dean sneers for the camera, seriously, I reckon I'd be more frightened of Pete's Schoolies! Other than that, it was very entertaining..........

we have schoolies big time here on the coast,a few of the resorts hire big bins from us just for the occasion and emptied on a daily basis,full of grog bottles pizza boxes etc,some of the placements are in really awkward alleys which pisses me off!!!

Well you're probably in the right job to make a difference Dave. My brother in law drives one of those semi-trailer garbage trucks, and he's witnessed a drug related murder, seen about a million drug deals go down etc, so I reckon you should start running over drug dealers and stick them in one of your bins, then drop 'em off at the tip. No bastard would miss them, and you can keep the contents of their wallets as a reward for your good deed!
