I received an email from our CFO at work, the social security tax break has expired, my next check will be 2% less.  So, I received a "lower" at work.

   Yeah, I already posted a while back that there isn't enough server space to let you all know what pisses me off but what really pisses me off is people that use this site without donating something besides the shyte that happens to come out of their pie holes.  I just stepped up again...hadn't for a while. What surprised me was that the list of people that have donated is usually fairly long. Right now it's short, really short...like shorter than your junk actually. I know, your first thought is how can anything be that short but it is. So pay up ya buncha monkeys! If ya don't then I'll have to let you know what really pisses me off and that will crash the site.

Working for a living pisses me off. It was my first day back today after a month's vacation, and honestly, for all the work I did, I could have stayed home.

I read a heap of old emails, answered a few technical questions, took some calls, and came home again. I could have been out on a ride somewhere, wrenching on one of my bikes, or tipping a few cold beers down my neck.

Oh well, one day closer to the weekend.......

I'm pissed off that a couple of days leave to go to Sydney in Feb with the Mrs while she buys stuff for her business has been knocked back by my bosses.
Now I'll have to stay home on my own and have parties and mates and
 girls over......oh wait, maybe I'm not as pissed off as I thought I was.
But still pissed off with work, which I now call the salt mine ffs.

Yeh, I'll get over it and enjoy the solitude and peace. I was mainly looking forward to having a look at the Powerhouse museum while she was doing her thing.
I spend a lot of time at home alone anyway, she works all weekend and rarely has a Sat or Sun off (perils of owning your own business), but at least I can do what I want without having to cater for her weekend needs. If she ever sells the business and has normal weeknds we will crash and burn.....

And then this evening I find out that my mate that I'm driving over with to the Classic on the 25th  can't get the day off, despite applying for it weeks ago....he's pissed off too!!
So now we're going to drive over through Fri night and still be at the track for the first action on Saturday.

KMart Tyre and Auto pisses me off. I took my little Hyundai Excel in for it's ten year service (you can't kill these little things, so you can let the maintenance slip a little.................) and decided on the "Major Service", not that I thought it needed it, but I'm driving it to Adelaide this weekend to pick up an engine, so I thought I'd err on the side of safety, I'd hate for it to break down 500 miles from home.

I noticed that the air filter wasn't included in the $199.00 price, so I opted for one of them too. I also asked the service manager to fix my windscreen washers as they've sucked up some poop and the lines are obviously blocked.

Michael, the service manager, rang me an hour later to say I needed a new front disc, new pads, machining, two new tyres, (the old ones had only done 100,000 miles, that's not much?) coolant system flush, blah blah blah, and the total would be $850.00. Fark! My car's not worth 850 bucks!

Oh well, it does feel nicer to drive now, and if it keeps going for another 10 years I suppose it's worth it, but as I was driving home I tried my washers, and the bastards didn't fix 'em! Now that really pisses me off, because I'll have to do it myself..............

My chiropractor can really piss me off, he's an excellent chiro but has no mechanical ability so I'm always fixing his stuff (cars, lawn mowers etc...) in exchange for free back adjustments which is cool except he's always asking for help at the damnedest times. Last night as I pulled into his parking lot I spotted a Chrysler Pacifica with it's hood up and fluid on the ground. Hey it's not my prob so I ignored it and went in but sure as shyte  as he was popping my back he asked if I could take a look at the Chrysler in his lot, it was owned by another patient who was waiting for her husband that was 45 mins away to get there and I guess my chiro told her that he had a mechanical whiz patient coming in (me) that might take a look at it. It was dark, cold, I was tired and just wanted to go home but I unenthusiastically said "Oh OK". Turned out the upper rad hose had come off the radiator spewing antifreeze all over so I told the owner to call her husband to nab some antifreeze on his way while I drove home to get a handful of tools to get the hose back on. I did my good deed for the day I guess.

I had a project laying  under a ford truck in the middle of the winter one time. 20' and frozen is much better than laying in the  puddles when it gets up to 35'.

Good news is I won a $3000.00 "travel package" a few months ago, which consisted of some new Victorinox luggage and a $1000.00 "Accor Hotels" gift card, so I'm staying at one of the nicer hotels in Adelaide on Saturday night, free of charge, woohoo! (let me at that mini-bar.......)

Bad news is that the temperature is gonna be over 100 again tomorrow, so there'll probably be more friggin' bushfires between here and Adelaide over the next few days, and as most of them are deliberately lit, that really pisses me off! Cheers, Terry.

Ha ha, nah mate, I used the card two weekends ago when I had the exploding spa bath at another Accor hotel (did I tell you that story? I can't remember, I'm very old....) and used it to pay for the room, the minibar, breakfast, the whole box and dice!

I'm glad that the weather is not gonna be as nasty on the weekend, as I didn't get the aircon re gassed, which might have been a problem if it was gonna be hot. Oooher, I better flick across to the Wemoto site and order some more parts for my Wang, there's some rally in March everybody keeps telling me I should attend............
