No one should be envious of anyone else's success, we're all the architects of our own destiny. ;D

Well said Uncle Tez.

And it's true, I just wish I wasn't using a pencil when I was doing the schematics.
I broke the lead and could never find my sharpener. ;D ;D ;D

Ha ha, you broke a sh1tload more than just your "pencil" Brian, when I first met you, you had more tubes hanging out of you than I thought humanly possible, but looking at your crash pics, it's still hard to believe how you survived at all! ;D

I haven't seen those pics for ages I should have a look for 'em. ;D
The older I get the faster I was.

They were truly frightening mate, was it Sammy who posted them? You getting airborne, you hitting the wall, then the sidecar outfit slamming you against the wall again. I know you broke lots of bones and died 3(?) times on the side of the tack before the helicopter flew you to the Austin Spinal Unit, it sure makes my injuries look like paper cuts, in comparison. Still sad that your mate Peter(? with the Oxygen bottle) has passed, he was a lovely bloke. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

About three weeks ago, I called on another CB175 (That I don't really need, or have space for) that was priced extremely well and had a title.  Typical old bike problems, dented gas tank needs cleaned out, doesn't run, etc. Lady said she sold it already and they were coming to pick it up that evening.  Three days later I see the same exact CB listed back on Facebook Marketplace at almost 3x the price "Firm".  Listings show a few more pictures, "Runs on one cylinder, needs carbs rebuilt, and gas tank needs cleaned out"

He eventually, dropped the price to about double what he paid for it and looks like he sold it in the last day or so.  I don't have a problem with people trying to make a buck, but at least try to polish the turd a little before you do.

I've been filling in homeschooling my granddaughters on the days when their mother works in the office and they don't go to in person school, that's over for a while they got exposed to virus on the school bus. They got the swab up the nose test this morning, both cried. I'm barred for two weeks. And that's what's pissing me off.

I've just watched Guy Ritchie's "The Gentlemen". Now I want 2 hours of my life back. Charlie Hunham's British accent should have put me off in the first 5 minutes, but I hoped it would get better. I was wrong. What a load of garbage. Loads of garbage piss me off............. :D

I'm pleased to hear the grand kids have tested negative Don. I hope it all work's out for the best.

On another matter the saga of my elusive 750A continues. I just got a call from my carrier, he's been tboned by a truck in Melbourne and has no idea when he will be able to get back up to Brissy to load my bike.

Bloody Hell!

Yeah Brian, fcuk that guy off, take Frank's advice and contact me and I'll give you the name and number of the carrier who brought my K0 rolling (without a front wheel) K0 frame down, for only $165! Cheap as chips, and excellent service! ;D

So I placed an order with Fastenal for some stainless hardware to finish up the 550. Apparently two girls work there and it has been three days now since I placed the order and I still haven't got a quote yet. I called back yesterday and talked to the other girl and she took my email again. I still haven't heard back from them and that pisses me off. Their excuse was that they are really busy but three days with no contact. It seems like there are a lot of places using Covid as an excuse to be lazy or something. I guess I will call the corporate office and try to find out why I can't get a response from that store. I miss the days when I could go to a business and buy what I want and talk to a person that knows the product they are selling, not just what the screen tells them.

Yeah,Covid is the main excuse I've heard from individuals the past 6 months:just tell them "it's because of this virus that.............."  I wonder what they'll think of after we have a working vaccine ??

I got my project/parts K0 out in the driveway. Called the cops on myself to get the Vermont title VIN check, The officer came and was good with it but he didn't have any letterhead paper to ID himself on. He also couldn't get the VIN  to come back and left. 4 hours later, no word and I'm expecting a tow truck to show up. It must be about quitting time for day shift.
And that might piss me off.

The PoPO just called, he got busy and the VIN didn't come back. He needed the make, year and model. He said it's just a formality don't worry and he'll see me Monday AM.

Nah, don't worry Don, they won't put you in prison for fear of giving you Covid-19, so they'll either let you go, or shoot you. ;D

I got a good bill of sale, so I'm taking that Sean guy down with me! That said, I didn't see an ID and he was moving.
I was relieved the officer was good with the entire Vermont thing. He may be under the impression I have a Vermont based buyer. I've heard sometimes they balk at the non resident registration. I of course rolled it outside, away from the other bikes and didn't give any extra information.  I remembered it's like inviting a vampire into your home. Makes you powerless against them. L0L!

I've got a 'grippy' pair of small Craftsman needle nose mini pliers that work well for holding-on to circlips.
