Yes Dave, it's days like this that I'm happy to be me! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

About two years ago I pulled my bead blaster cabinet apart to give it a good clean up, and that's how it stayed. So this week I got sick of cleaning ally bits with wire brushes and paper so I get stuck in and put it all back together. Hooked up the air line and away I went blasting the paint of 4 old Colleda brake master cylinders.  Then my old compressor shat itself. At the same time all the power went off. Seems it tripped the the RCD safety switch. I switched the compressor off at the outlet and switched the RCD back over. Switched on the compressor and same thing happens. Bugger. It may be about time to replace the old Peerless 10CFM for a new one.  I think the motor in it comp finally died.  I'm pissed at that because it was a Christmas present from the missus about 35 years ago and its another four months untill next Christmas. At least I could finish the blasting job with my little cheapo handyman compressor but it was slow work waiting for it to catch up all the time. Machinery dying in the middle of a job pisses me off.

After a week of perfect spring like weather here (spent inside a fkn office), warmish days and blue skies, I have been looking forward to getting the 1100r out and causing some havoc in the hills......and then this morning I wake up to strong winds, black skies and sideways rain.....there is no god Tez. It pisses me off.

Get that old Peerless compressor fixed Krusty, I had one before I bought an expensive Dago built 15 CFM bugger with a 150 litre tank that crapped out after less than 12 months. (but was recently repaired by an aircraft tech at a RAAF base I work at and it's better than new now) My old blue Peerless V Twin compressor was a fantastic old thing, I painted many cars with that bugger, and I wish I still had it. Not having my old Peerless compressor pisses me off. ;D

Blasphemy! God and I had a top ride Pete, he told me that he'd put on a beaut day for me to make up for my boss making me grab my ankles and reaming me over the aborted Darwin trip, but he said he'd turn on some sunshine for you next weekend, but only if you promise to go to church, stop wacking off, and say three Hail Mary's.

Hmmnnn, the more I think about, the more I'm guessing you're gonna have crap weather for a while longer......... ;D

She dropped to 6deg out here in the rural last night.
I can't remember it being so chilly in the 33 years that I've been in Darwin.

Usually when it gets to 12 or 15, it hits the front page of the local rag.
So last night, I get into the nest with 2 doonas on board and a pair of socks and the track suit pants on.
Because we're usually always sweating our guts out, it's probably the same as sticking an Eskimo in the Sahara Desert.

Anyway, I woke up at 4am and I was busting for a piss and there was no way that I was getting out of the nice warm nest to have a snakes hiss.
So by 5am, the pressure was on to get up and drain the vein.

Well fcuk it, I rolled out of the cot and made a beeline to the pisshouse only to find that the cord on my track suit pants was in a knot and the bastard wouldn't undo.
So there I was, shakin' like a dog sh1ttin' gutterbolts from the cold and on the verge of pissin' meself.
Then I just gave the cord a big reef and snapped it.

After thinking about it today, I reckon that piss felt better than having a jump.  ;D

If I was you
I'd be worried about me.

So, some one else likes the Blues, Jesus and I thought I was amongst the few of a dying breed and being stuck in the hinterlands Jazz is even more a threatened group most of the #$%* I hear on the radio is country which maybe responsible for the rise in hemorrhoids in the world or pop music which I know is behind prostate tumors or at least severe dribbling. It's a son of a #$%* when, every once in a while even opera sounds vaguely human as opposed to the drivel on the radio.

"Pissing me off" doesn't even BEGIN to describe my anger over what is happening to me this weekend, due to Obamacare. I have to sell my beloved 1967 Ford Galaxie LTD 2-door Fastback that I have had 34+ years, because Obamacare has caused our annual medical costs to go from $12k/year in 2010 (when it started) to now $32k as of August 1 this year, with 5 more months still to go this year alone: it is taking most of my income just to pay the medical bills, now. I need the money from this car just to make it to the end of this year, alone. And I'd better not get started, or I won't be able to quit typing....  >:(

Yeah, that's bullschidt Mark, I don't know how Obammycare works, but over here we've got Medicare, and it costs us working stiffs 1% of our salaries. It's not fantastic, (doesn't cover dental or optometry) but if you're sick, they'll fix you up. Health care in the US has always been ridiculous though, my sister lived there for 25 years, and she was paying around $30K a year for medical insurance then too. (before OBammy) Cheers, Terry. ;D
