Metalflake Vinyl source?
« on: August 04, 2012, 05:54:58 AM »
Thinking of blue for my 750K, but all my local boat places do not have any, and some of the online shops are insane to charge that much. Anyone know a good source?

Joann fabrics used to sell it. the one here in Topeka ks used too. Monday when i get to work I'll ask a tenant who does upholstery if he has a source for getting it,and where .

RothMetalflake.com is what I am using to paint my tank candy flake orange.  They are not cheap, but they have many sizes to choose from.

You could also try some craft flake Martha Steward has many colors and they are cheap about $10 for a big can.  If there is a Michael's craft store you can get it there.  I'd imagine it's available in many different places.

Boat places are the worst of all for high prices!!!
Never shop at a boat shop for anything unless absolutely necessary.
