gas tank help

my '73 cb500 need a new tank. just wondering is cb360 tank would fit on cb500? any info on other different tanks that would work much appreciated. thanks!

360? I don't think. I believe a 550 will.

thanks for the reply. the reason i'm looking at 360 as an option is because they both have petcocks on left side and 500/550 tanks are damn hard to come by.

man! i was on holiday when you reply Stev-o. thats sure a really nice one and super cheap. anyway, thanks for trying to help Stev-o! thats really nice. there's another one i'm waiting the bid to end. fingers crossed.

and may i know why some of the 750s tanks have petcocks on left side?

Hey Paeh - where'd you go on Holiday?

Depending on model, 750 has petcock on either side.
