Sorry to hear, hope it's just minor.

How was the festival? I hope to make it next year.

I only went Friday...it gets bigger every year...the only reason I go is for the swapmeet...absolutely absurd prices on the Kawasaki triples I saw, a super rough 75' H1 for $3k?  I came really close to getting a gsxr-1100 while I was there, but I talked myself out of it...either an early gixxer or katana is next on my to build list...1216 or 1266cc big bore, ported head, cams, carbs, etc...with stock appearances...and hayabusa level power.

I'm going to take the bike down to the bare frame again and pull the motor...I need another sandcast cylinder, but can't and won't fork out that kind of money...I will fix my original, it will be thoroughly tested before it goes back on the bike, it's going to be a winter project...again...I might replace all the remaining questionable parts that aren't absolutely mint...but then again, I want to ride this bike.

The H1 are bringing in big money. I was shopping for one, found one local for $2500. Was a good runner but need total cosmetic restore and had incorrect front end. I passed....bought a Z1 instead.

Well, I've started back in on it again, I had to end up pulling the engine again, repair the holes in the camchain tunnel, and reinstall...i'll post picture of my progress (or lack thereof) shortly...got involved with a local vintage bike group that meets up every Thursday not too far from where I live so it keeps things lively.  Pictures in about an hour or so.

I got to ride it a bit today...first time it's been on a city street since 83'.  Numerous small problems crept up...but it moved under it's own power for several miles with no engine oil leaks....the breather hose I forgot to plug up...that's another story all together...attended the local vintage bike night in Decatur and showed it off a little alongside my dad's K6 he bought new.
