Hey - New guy here, picked up a 76 cb550 with siezed motor as a project. Really excited about digging in and getting to know the bike. I'm decent with cars, this will be my first cycle project. Been reading a few threads on siezed motors, I'll be checking the clutch first, then removing the oil pan to see if the chain is wound-up then going the fluid/rock in gear method to try to free it up.
Goals will be to free it up, get it running, make it road safe. I'll do mods after I get used to riding it and work out the bugs.
Previous bikes:95 zx7, 00 rc51, 02 warrior, 08 wr250x (still have this one).
