what is the best way to remove light rust in gas tank? Thanks

Lots of things. My personal preference....... Muratic acid sold at most hardware stores. Highly toxic and very nasty stuff.
Since I learned about it and how to do it correctly I never use anything else. It's marvelous, the price is right and you don't have to wait overnight.

What is it used for, that a neighborhood hardware store would have it??   ???
...stock 1972 CB500 '500 Four' undergoing re-assembly...
...Stock 1972 CL450 'Scrambler' also being re-assembled...

Its used to clean stone and brick. It takes calcium deposits and mortar mess right off.
