Starting a build on one of two CB750's I picked up in April. Here's the tank and seat I picked up.
Got the frame hoop in!
Chopped Frame, I remember a time I would have paused before doing this. Not now!
Drilled for plug welds.... hoop too!
Test Fitment.
Hoop in and welded. Sanded smooth.
Seat final resting position.
Need to mount the tank up a little higher in front. Then build a battery tray under the seat hump. Then rear set mounts. Lots to do!!
This picture reminds me of some creature in Star Wars! Bantla?
Weather is cooling off and getting in some garage time. Got my wheels broke down and started on the front hub. Sanding the ribs down on it first.
Then bead blasted
Then polished
Then powder coated candy red
Have the rear insert done
Here are all the parts I have completed in two days
A close up of the rotor
Got alot more work done this weekend. Dropped teh wheels off at teh powder coaters since they wont fit in my oven. Trying to get everyrthing ready to reassembly upon their return.
Got the gold powder out and started hitting some accent pieces.
Took apart my shocks and powdered all the chrome.
I set my spokes up on a spoke farm and powdered them triple mirror black
Strung my nipples up like jewelry and painted them gold. I think that will pop against the red rims.
Rear chunk from the other side...
More to come later!
