So my little GSXR250RR is going great on the road, as light as a push bike but easily hits red line in all gears when pushed, 180 kph no problems with more in reserve.
However once you slow down and hit the odd traffic light or stop sign it shudders and wants to die!
I automatically blamed the slow idle system and have had the carbs apart many time cleaning and checking them.
Is there something basic I have missed?
Why would a bike go so well under load yet fail at slow speeds?
Gas supply is good, vacuum gas tap works perfectly, new plugs, starts right up every time, strange flat spot between idle (if it would) and high speed.
I hate being beaten by a problem and am not ready to take it to my pet mechanic to sort, so come on geniuses of the SOHC4 Forum, get your thinking caps on and give me some suggestions/direction.
