Bike Transport
« on: October 02, 2012, 01:29:58 AM »
Howdy! It's been a while since I've been on here.

I'll have to put up some photo's of my bike, which 2 years later is still not quite finished :/

Bike transport!
Do you guys know of a good place to get bikes moved with?
It's not a sohc, but it's a bike I've been after for a long time, but never see them, the Kawasaki 350 Bighorn.
It's in Brissy, and I'm in Melbourne! so It's a bit too far for a weekend job.

I've used Paul Barker Motorcycle Transport 0488 726 846 - he brought a bike door to door for me from Qld to SA and he was excellent.

I got a bike up from Melbourne to Qld a few months back, I priced the bike shippers, they wanted nigh on a grand to shift it.  In the end I rang a removal company that I know did runs to Melbourne.  He delivered it door to door as a back load for only a couple of hundred bucks.

I agree, as long as time isn't an issue backload shipping is the way to go.
