Prepping a 1976 Restomod "Sitter"
« on: October 20, 2012, 11:41:25 AM »
Greetings to the Board!

A friend has just purchased a 1976 550 with a setup very similar to mine. However, the bike was modded in late 09, hasn't really been run since. Seller indicated that the carbs needed a good cleaning, new battery, etc. I would like to ask the group for guidance on the best cleaning and prepping protocal for a rebuilt 550 that has been "sitting" for a couple of years.

Appreciate the knowledge and input! All the Best!
Best Regards,
