New Site Member and my project cb550
« on: October 26, 2012, 12:43:16 AM »
Greetings fellow SOHC4 members.

Just wanted to join in all the fun and share a few pics of my never ending project.

I got the bike about a year ago for $300 and have been slowly resurrecting it back to life. Here are a few pics of its before and current status.

All that in one year?  I am impressed and I like your bike.  What exhaust is that?

Thanks for the complements.

Yes the exhaust is from Nostalgia Speed/Carpy and its still raw steel as it came. I'm planning on getting it coated after I get the bike all mechanically sorted out. The biggest gremlin right now is figuring out the best jetting with the open exhaust an velocity intakes. I just went to 120 main jets and 45 idle jets but still have to test ride.

Stay tuned for more updates.
