Early K caliper bolt size? someone have specs?
« on: November 02, 2012, 09:23:45 AM »
Does someone have the specs for this bolt? or one laying around they can measure for me?
The 2 big allen-type that hold the caliper faces together around the arm.
Thanks!

I can measure it when I get home, I have at least two in the spare box.

It is a finer thread than normal. But I don't have the actual measure.

Do the cheaper bolts you sourced have the same size head and the same size smooth shoulder. Always cross my fingers on a new old project getting those out for the first time, have destroyed a couple of heads over the years. Luckily I have a way now to do it if they do get destroyed.
