Well, it might be a little while. We will call this the "press release"
I posted this on facebook about a week ago.
"In the beginning of the project I was approached by a person, who will remain anonymous, about wanting to be a part. I'm not exactly the wealthiest person, so this person suggested they help fund the bike build. Having someone with that much invested was a risk, but a risk I felt I should take, so it was decided that we would work together. They would provide money to help speed up the process, in exchange for owning the bike in the end, while I handled building it. It was decided a few weeks ago, based on differing project goals/expectations, that we should part ways. As I have mentioned, projects always have a way of trying to shake you off, but it is your determination that will make it all worth while in the end. So, right now, Must~Dache is on hold until I can come up with $4000 to pay off the investor and own the bike and parts for myself.
After speaking with friends, I have a plan in the works that will satisfy me for the time being and hopefully get the flats bike back, so work can resume. I am still going to finish the bike, but I cant say for sure when we will actually make it out to the flats. My filthy mustache will also remain, until I get a land speed record......sorry for those that have to see it on a regular bases."
So thats where the project sits as of this moment. It will get finished, Its just uncertain as to when I will be able to get out to Utah. Time will tell. Im happier now, and a lot of unnecessary stress has been lifted.
