O-rings for push in main jets
« on: November 11, 2012, 08:30:11 AM »
Where can I get the O-rings for the push in main jets on a CB500/550?

 I believe they're supposed to be 1.2mm cross section X 3.5mm I.D.
Do they need to be nitrile or something special to stand up to fuel?

I used Buna-N on mine from the O-ring store.  Buna-N is nitrile.  I think I got enough to rebuild four sets of carbs for @ 5 bucks.  I havnt had any problems them.  I think that viton is an upgrade in both performance and price......but I aint the know all end all of o-ring googleology.
