Wow those carbs were a mess!  :o

I can't imagine only sanding to remove the paint. OMG that's brutal. Do yourself a favor and get some stripper or something!

Funny, I was thinking the same thing the whole time I was doing it...

The reason I haven't gone with something like aircraft stripper as of this point is I've read about how incredibly awfully toxic that stuff is for everything around it, both on this site and other... and that makes me hesitate, especially since I'd have to find a proper disposal site. 

The paint's coming along okay, it's the decals that are really killing it for me. I'm gonna try to heat-gun them off next time sanding it. On the upside, I'm really excited to bondo the imperfections in the tank as I re-assemble!

If you want to part out the old tank I may need the fuel door stuff.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)
