CB400F footpegs on a CB350F
« on: December 02, 2012, 10:05:13 PM »
So after reading a thread here about cb400f "rearsets" on different bikes I thought I would give it a go on my cb350f since they are pretty much the same. I also just so happen to have a set of 400f pegs laying around. Everything has bolted up and seems like it will work fine except now my 350f kickstarter wont clear the right side peg when folded up. Did some research and came up with the fact that the cb400f casing is thicker where the kickstarter spline exits. Here are some pics I found:

So what I am wondering is if I get a cb400f kickstart lever will it give me enough clearance for the peg? Anyone else done this to a cb350f and got the kickstart to work?

Thanks.

I can attempt to make a look at it: I have a 350F at home and a 400F is at work. It will take a day or so, so someone else may beat me to it...  :)
