rebuilding forks?

any help, im rebuilding my forks soon cleaning off the fender mounts. ive never rebuilt forks just looking for input sugguestions

I'm not sure about rebuilding. I did the fork seals & changed the fluid in my cb650. Wasn't hard. Just followed the manual & used automatic trans fluid to fill. There's all sorts of opinions on fluids. It worked fine for me. Good luck

Best fork video in the world. It saved my sanity when I was trying to replace my Cb750 seals. I followed the manual, but a little video never hurt. The biggest investment was the 18" Flat Head screwdriver to take the seal out. ALSO, when taking the seal out pad the crap out of it. I had rags on the tip of my screwdriver, and the pivot point. The aluminum scrapes, scars, and damages real easily. I scraped my first one and filed it all down, it still took out some metal, but I left no sharp edges for the seal to cut against. 
Best of luck, your forks might be built differently, but for a Cb750f 78' like mine. Same disassemble, and install.
