Funny Place names
« on: December 28, 2012, 04:01:23 PM »
When I worked in Ireland, I discovered a small town called Muff on the coast of  Co Donegal. Rumour had it there was a diving club there.
Here in France, there is a town called condom. Been there a few times on the Fireblade, I laugh every time I enter that town.

There's a town about 1.5 hours from me called "Dildo" and another one about 2 hours away called "Come-by-Chance".  :)

Austria takes the cake with "F...ing" and "Wank" ;D
Here in Germany you will find the city of "Worms" and "Petting".
The town in the afore mentioned post, minus the "E" is a common surname in the region I live in :P

Saw a sign on I-75 for 'BIG BONE LICK' park, it made me want to stop there for a picnic with my girlfriend.  ::)

Just discovered that in the Burgundy region here in France there is a town called Anus. Looks a bit of a hole to me.
