Funny, this projection of sarcasm. I myself am not ware of any sarcasm. It was just a question. For instance: I do not know the CB360, whether it has cam bearings or not. The only thing I know for sure is the 500/550 don't have them. See? Sarcasm? To much honour. Could it be your diet of popcorn?

Deltarider?
Are you for real?
You're not a n00b.
Don't act like one.
Did 'any' SOHC Honda's have cam bearings?
**Not counting some elusive rare racing machine.

Gosh....sarcasm doesn't work well here.

Where's Jason?  He could keep this thread alive all by himself.
Did he get banned?  Some forums don't put up with trolls and sarcasm.

For you guys who spend more time talking than actually working on bikes, whether your camshafts ride in "Cam Towers" or directly in the cylinder head, the contact area where the camshaft/s bearing journals are located, are referred to universally as the "Cam Bearings".

On SOHC4's and many other bikes, when the material is damaged or worn beyond serviceable limits, it's basically a "throw away" deal, but a good engineering shop can mill out, and shrink in, new bearings. I don't think PJ was being sarcastic, he was just using a term common amongst mechanics, but probably alien to folks who aren't. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

You know, a long time ago being crazy meant something. Nowadays everybody's crazy.

You've got to watch your back in the SSDB, this is where the clever guys get bored with bike talk and make poo jokes.
I like my women a little big. Natural. Now, they shave this and wax that. It's not right. I love natural women. Big women. This trend in women has to go. Bulomia, anorexia. That's just wrong. You know what will cure that? My special sticky buns. One lick of my sticky buns and your appetite will come right back. ~ RIP Mr. Borgnine  01/24/1917 - 07/08/2012  :'(
