Drag Race, Lacey Rosenberry vs Hank Brown
Any relation to a drag racer named Ron Rosenberry, that used to live in San Bernadino in the '60s, and then Santa Maria, CA in the '70s? (He was one of my mentors..)

ok,so i thought id try a high tech inovation,in an effort to repel the R/F the camera was getting on the bike,i used the carcass of an empty beer can(i had one handy)and wrapped the camera in it,,with a cut out for the on/off switch,,blow me it actually worked!,the test footage is taking forever to load on photobucket so i canned it(another good pun),i think ill have to tape down a section or two as i can see it vibrating and buzzing badly once the speed gets up?

ill post tomorrow if it comes out ok.

We don't know him, but if it's spelled the same we are most likely related somehow.

This was my short dash cam test on my 'Wang this arvo, sadly the camera conked out before I managed to find some decent corners, and I couldn't get it to work again until I removed and replaced the battery when I got home. I'll try again tomorrow.

Dave, I took your advice and bought the most expensive card reader that Officeworks sell and it uploads in a really horrible jerky fashion, so I uploaded straight from the camera with much better results. Go figure. Tomorrow, if the weather is as good as it was today, I'll try again. ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Terry,
I have studied this a little,  and got a lot of helpful information here:
A Beginners Guide to Car Dashcam DVR Cameras

Ended ,  ordering this camera,    The best action camera under $100. The SJ1000 budget 1080p multi-purpose waterproof action cam.
on EBAY,  http://www.ebay.com/itm/111099668868?var=410184947428&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
Got it just 2 days ago,  but so far it exceeds my expectations!!!!   Don't forget to put class 10 or higher SD card if you want a seamless viewing.

It comes with a lot of accessories,  and a waterproof case which is great for all the "wet" countries...

Hope this info helps.

Jona

Hey thanks Jona, my brother has offered me a new GoPro 2 for free, (my favorite price.....) but if it doesn't materialise in a week or two, I'll buy one of those cameras that you bought.

Make sure you do a review and let us know how well it works, and don't forget some motorcycle footage around Haifa! Cheers, Terry. ;D

If you run them thru windows Moviemaker you can significantly reduce the size of the file and tailor it to suit the internet.
