Topic: Pingel Petcock on Bartel CR Tank

Help! I had the reference for which Pingel fit the Bartel CR aluminum tank but lost it.

Which one is the correct one?

But I think mine is a 3/16 NPT male

A 3/16" petcock fits the metric spout, or is it not metric? Same threads?

this was a tank sold threw Yoshirmura for a CR750 endurance bike
its the same as the original one but has more capacity
I will check to day and see
I am assuming that its like this one
cant see it all but the petcock comes out the back side of the tank underneath?

I have a 3/8 pingel fuel tap, but it wont fit the tank, you need a pingel 3/8 adapter, but you want a blank one, it has a 3/8 tapped hole for the fuel tap, but you have to drill your own fixing screw holes. the standard ones are the wrong hole centers. but you can fit a standard fuel tap, if you go onto the mead speed site, look at the fuel tank, and it gives you the type and bike model to get.
