Is there something about it that makes you suspect it is out of tolerance?

I have a 74 CB550 with 47000 miles (~76ooo km) on the original cam chain.  Still runs like a scalded cat.  Weeps oil, though.

done, just a cabron clean and new gaskets you have saved me like $200! i owe you, what do you guys drink over there?

but seriously, thanks for sharing your expertise. im still very new to this kinda thing with this being my first bike and all.

i just want to find a better way of cleaning my motors old flakey paint off, the paint stripper i used worked, but not all that well. as mentioned in the other post, i will try the soda blasting tomorrow and see how that goes, then maybe do my barrels and head while keeping everything taped up and sealed. i wonder if it will get the carbon from my combustion chambers?
