Well, I finally started teardown on my bike.
My friend found it for me, living in a barn in Illinois. The PO said it had been parked for 10 years, but it does kick over and the oil pressure light went out. I have a few ideas in my head for where I want to go with this bike, but they won't be concrete until the bike is done

Anyways, I'm a man of few words, so I'll commence with the pictures. This is from a few weeks ago, it's actually a little further down than this but haven't really touched it since then
. Been busy with school lately, and also trying to get my KLR650 running again so I can sell it, can't seem to get the carb clean enough to run properly (Which is scary, because it's just ONE carb!).
Here she sits when my friend picked her up. It was actually brought down to TX towed behind a Prius of all vehicles.

The PO must have been Thor, because both clamps are cracked. Possible candidate for a Goldwing swap?

Right side cover is in good shape, but left side has a small crack
At the end of the day. Doesn't look like I got much done. I was moving a little slow, learning my way around the bike.

Nothing exciting yet. If I have time, I would like to get the engine out next weekend.
