Getting close to running on project bike #1, I decided to start another project bike.  This one will use Ducati suspension on the front and rear and have the oil tank in the tail as on project bike #1.  Here is a pic after I ebayed the frame, engine, tank, then cleaned up the engine and installed in into the frame, added a header and new set of 29mm CR's, added levers and hooked up the front Brembos.  I pretty much had the suspension wheels and brakes from leftovers after building my Ducati 748 track bike, last I slapped on a new set of tires.  Here is where I am at with it....

Looks good I like the stance that it has. The tail section seems a bit high probally just me. Will be watching this one.

Mcwilliams570 - it looks higher in the back because it is on the rear stand, but the Ducati rear suspension is height adjustable, so it can be fine tuned.

Steve-o, thanks.  I bought the motor off eBay from a dismantler so im not sure of the mods. However from an examination under the valve cover it looks like it very recently had a valve job, and the compression is around 210 on all 4 cylinders, so I'm thinking it might have a big bore kit, but I have to assume it is stock.  I'm not looking for extreame performance if it will pass the ton I will be happy.

I really like the look of this .Any bike which incorporates anything Ducati in the build gets my attention .  One of the first specials I ever built was a Tricati , a 500 Triumph twin motor in a Ducati 200 Elite rolling chassis . It seemed like a good idea at the time

For the most part that thing looks sick but in my opinion that swing arm is hideous.  Im sure you are using parts you already have but I personally think one of the tressle swing arms would fit perfectly with the rest of the frame. Not that your trying to spend your life savings to make a bike I think is pretty.  The rest of the bike looks like it will be fantastic though.

Finally got the bike running... Next will be paint, headlight and seat.  We will be at Barber in a couple of months, it should be finished by then.
