Confirmation of year of manufacture
« on: February 18, 2013, 12:42:12 PM »
I have just finished a CB400F rebuild project on a bike with no V5 or registration number.
I have got it insured using the frame number and it is booked in for an mot this week.
I am then going to apply for an age related number from the dvla but I think they need confirmation of year of manufacture.
What is the best way of doing this? How much proof do the dvla need?
Has anyone been down this road?

Thanks for any advice offered.

Sorry only just seen this, to get an age related plate you need a certificate from an approved owners club, VJMC, Honda Owners Club, Vintage Motorcycle Club and I think Honda themselves, there may be more, I used the VMCC.
