Anyone ever use autosol alum polish on there cases insted of painting?Did it last?or is painting the way to go? Thanks

i only polish the easier to get to parts,once polished its a fortnightly maintainence ritual with alloy,damp air and humidity causes corrosion fast again,salty air even faster.

Autosol is a good polish. But I don't think it is meant for heavy cutting . It's a better version of Mothers aluminum mag wheel paste.  If you have heavy polishing to do, wet sand, a bench buffer and some tripoli then white rouge.
