The OCC show has ZERO redeeming value.  All they do is see how much metal they can weld on a frame and call it "custom".  It looks like they farm out most of the REAL work to other places instead of doing the work in house.  Even the engines come in pre-built, they just drop it in the frame.  It has gotten a little better since the show started but I still see lots of trucks arriving during the show...  Most of the work I see is painfully un-original.  The smartest person on the show is Mikey.  He's smart enough to stay out of the way and not be associated with the bike builds.   ;D  If you want to see original work, watch old episodes of Jesse James or Indian Larry (RIP).  I don't see much that I would emulate from the OCC show.  I was influenced on my bike by another SOHC/4 member!!!   ;)  Now THATS a show I'd love to see, SOHC/4 restoration and building!!! 8) 8) 8)

Even though he would be competition, I WOULD WATCH in secret.  ;D After all, when you watch someone else do it. It is ALWAYS easier to do a one up  :D  ::)

Cheers Carpy on your new found success..
