The other bike I wish I had back was the 80cc Suzuki from my signature. It was the first bike my dad ever bought for me in 1981 when I was 15 . He finally sold it around 1994 or 1995 when he retired and moved to Florida. It was a sweet little bike and in immaculate condition. I think it still only had a few thousand miles on it at the time.

I am selling my 1971 Honda CB 100 motorcycle. The bike runs and has only ~760 miles on the odometer. I am selling it due to an imminent move out of state.
I recently stripped the bike to the frame, and cleaned and repainted it. It has new Michelin Gazelles and the wheels were trued by a local shop. It has a few issues that need to be resolved, but is in good shape overall;
Turn signals are currently out due to a wiring issue, should be a simple fix.
Rear brake pedal is unmounted, needs new axle.
Carburetor needs a tune, leaking gas.

Basically it was just cleaned up. A months worth of cleaning I might add. Had to paint the front fender. Had no choice but it looks pretty good. The rest of the paint is original color. Several members here told me not to paint the whole bike but keep the color intact. It was a great idea and thankful I left it alone.

The only thing not original besides the paint on front fender is the seat cover. The rest is correct. Everything was redone but the motor. Has 145/150 compression, no smoke of any kind. 16K on the clock. I'm second original owner. Have a copy of original title from 1965.

I'll enjoy then sell at some point. Have a lot of money in this build but if you do it right..you always do.

Nice looking bike. Should be good bike for someone. Seattle area has good old/small bike and old car culture and prices are generally good for sellers.
The Gazelles are a good tire for light bikes and the tires have good grip in wet and dry.

I can't find that anywhere David! That and a rear luggage rack, engine guard. Hoping my contacts find me something in Mid Ohio.

I ran several errands today and this bike is just a blast. Nothing fast, nothing loud and talk about attention? Unbelievable.  Must be everybody had one, knew of one or wanted one. Just a blast.

I believe the CA78 is the most impressive bike ever made. 

I would take video of me putting a knee down but the battery in the camera usually goes dead before I can get up to speed. I'm looking for a big hill so as to get up to 60 mph or so. Don't have a leather suit because those foreigners don't make my size. I will not give up fat burgers and donuts. I'm an American and I will drive my large V8 gas sucking truck and leave a carbon footprint larger than the State of RI! 

Nope, won't do another one. Forget about it. Looking to go CB77 next. It's expensive and hard to find a nice example under 4K. Cheaper to buy a nice example rather than hunting down parts. The Dream was a perfect example. Yes, it's for sale and I won't say no for the right price. I'm not advertising it either.

nice work man.   I love my 69.  And your right,  the dream steals a lot of looks.  Much more than my cb750.   Basically my fav two bikes are my cb750 and the 305 dream.

I had to decide between a seat rack or a luggage rack. Luggage racks are hard to find in usable condition. Loved the look of the seat rack. So, I just bought an expandable tank bag. Enough metal on this bike! All of it. 

The GF loved the seat rack. She called it sexy. Like high heels with tight blue jeans. 

Mounted today. Love it!

Yes, that seat rack looks nice!   It doesn't detract from the classic style of the Dream.

Thanks! I had to think a couple of weeks on that one.

I think a chrome engine guard would be the finishing touch but hard to find in decent shape.

Yes, 1/4 inch.

I can see why you would be hesitant to mount with a hole being required.  The result however looks good and any passenger would be appreciative.  Did you consider the negatives of that now that she won't need to hold tight to you?

I ride solo unless on the CBX. I thought about it and decided I put the 4 months of work, money and time. It was not a restoration but a bike to enjoy. If a potential buyer bulks because I mounted a seat rail then he/she needs to look elsewhere. 

I like the look way better than a luggage rack. Funny that the front fender had holes for a mud guard and I filled them. Didn't like the look.

When bikes are being brought into the shop one must appease. She liked it, good enough.
